How to play

How do you play Paper.io?

Move your colored block around the grid using arrow keys or swipe. Leave your territory to draw a trail, then return to your territory to fill in the area. Avoid crossing other players' trails!

What happens if someone crosses my trail?

If an opponent (or you cross their trail) crosses your trail while you're outside your territory, you die and lose a life. Protect your trail by returning quickly.

How do I win a level?

Each level has a target territory percentage to capture. Reach that percentage while surviving to complete the level. Higher levels require more territory and face tougher AI opponents.
