How to play
How do you play Canal Lock?
Each chamber has a water level. Click inlet valves (top, blue) to raise the level and outlet valves (bottom, red) to lower it. When two adjacent chambers have EQUAL water levels, click the gate between them to lift it — then your boat can pass through.
How is Canal Lock different from pipe rotation puzzles?
Canal Lock does NOT involve rotating pipes. You manage discrete water levels in lock chambers using inlet and outlet valves, and equalize adjacent chambers to lift the gates between them.
What is the boat draft?
Draft is how deep the boat sits in the water. A heavy-cargo boat (Tier 5) needs a higher water level to float and pass through gates. The draft requirement is shown at the top of each level.
How many levels does Canal Lock have?
30 handcrafted levels across 6 tiers of 5 levels each. Tier 1-2: single and twin locks. Tier 3-4: long canals with 4-5 chambers. Tier 5: heavy cargo (draft 3). Tier 6: imperial 6-chamber canals.
